“The Slkor Warriors Basketball Team” Fostered Friendship Through The Race

On the afternoon of July 29, 2023, a friendly race was held between “Slkor Warriors Basketball Team” and “Dongjieshi Electric Sensing Basketball Team”. The players from both teams displayed solid basic skills and seamless coordination, making the game exciting and captivating. The cheer leading squad consisting of beautiful ladies added to the lively atmosphere. The Slkor team members wore China red jerseys, and together with the Dongjieshi team, they presented a splendid game for everyone. Song Shiqiang and the Slkor Warriors team believe that when stepping onto the basketball court, passion is our best expression, unity is our endless driving force, and victory is our ultimate goal!

Slkor Warriors Basketball Team VS Dongjieshi Electric Sensing Basketball Team

As the referee blew the whistle, the race began. The Dongjieshi Electric Sensing team, true to their reputation as a strong team in the electronics industry, quickly took a 15-point lead over the Slkor Warriors team through skilled coordination. The Slkor Warriors team had a sluggish performance in the first quarter, but gradually regained their confidence with the cheers and support from the beautiful cheer leading squad. They launched a counterattack against the Dongjieshi team.

In the second quarter, the number 9 player of Slkor, Little Meng, took advantage of an opponent’s coordination mistake, intercepted the ball at mid court, and made a three-point shot. Little Meng, who is a sales engineer of Slkor, proved to be a powerful offensive weapon on the court, displaying comprehensive skills, speed, and accurate shooting. When he dribbled the ball towards the basket again, players 24 and 34 from the Dongjieshi team rushed forward to double-team him. The audience was anxiously stomping their feet! However, Little Meng quickly stopped and passed the ball to his teammate, number 15, who was open on the weak side. Number 15 jumped high and made the shot. “Beautiful! We’ve taken the lead!!” A deafening cheer erupted from the crowd!

From then on, both teams fiercely contested every point, displaying impressive three-pointers, blocks, and steals. The Slkor Warriors truly lived up to their name as warriors. With their indomitable spirit, they won the game with a score of 140 to 130! After the game, Song Shiqiang awarded bonuses to the players: 1000 yuan for each team’s MVP and 500 yuan for the other players.

The captain of the Slkor Warriors basketball team, Chen Suwei, said that Dongjieshi is a respectable opponent. SlkorMicro Semicon and Dongjieshi Electric are both companies that have emerged from Huaqiangbei. They plan to continue playing against other teams in the future.

The “Chuanyu Electronics People” is a NGO formed by peers from China Sichuan Province. They actively participate in sweat-inducing occasions such as basketball games in Huaqiangbei. The “Fuxing No.1 Basketball Team” is a team formed by entrepreneurs from Xichong County, Sichuan Province, China, who is based in Shenzhen. The basketball team serves as a unifying force for everyone, and Song Shiqiang is also a member of the “Fuxing No.1 Basketball Team”!
