范迪安，1955年9月生于福建，中央美术学院中国美术史专业硕士研究生毕业，文学硕士。现任中央美术学院院长，教授，博士生导师，中国美术家协会主席，中国文艺评论家协会副主席，教育部艺术教育委员会副主任，中央文史研究馆馆员，北京美术家协会主席，全国政协委员。2018年12月23日中国美术家协会第九届理事会第一次会议，当选中国美术家协会主席。从事20世纪中国美术研究、当代艺术批评与展览策划、艺术博物馆学研究。曾担任威尼斯双年展中国国家馆、中法文化年、中意文化年、上海双年展等展览项目的策展工作，2021年3月，全国政协委员范迪安建立高层次艺术人才全程培养机制，深化改革人才培养模式。范迪安建议加快设立艺术学“专业博士”学位，培养“创作型”高层次艺术人才。
Fan Dian, born in September 1955 in Fujian, graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts with a Master’s degree in Chinese Art History and a Master’s degree in Literature. Currently serving as the Dean, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Chairman of the Chinese Artists Association, ViceChairman of the Chinese Literary Critics Association, Vice Chairman of the Art Education Committee of the Ministry of Education, Librarian of the Central Museum of Culture and History, Chairman of the Beijing Artists Association, and Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. On December 23, 2018, at the first meeting of the 9th Council of the Chinese Artists Association, he was elected as the Chairman of the Chinese Artists Association. Engaged in research on 20th century Chinese art, contemporary art criticism and exhibition planning, and art museum studies. Formerly served as the curator for exhibition projects such as the China National Pavilion, the Sino French Cultural Year, the Sino Italian Cultural Year, and the Shanghai Biennale at the Venice Biennale. In March 2021, National Committee member Fan Dian established a comprehensive training mechanism for high-level artistic talents and deepened the reform of talent training models. Fan Dian suggests accelerating the establishment of a “professional doctoral” degree in art and cultivating high-level “creative” art talents.
